If you're headed to SEMA this week in Las Vegas keep your eyes peeled for ShineBox! Mark is heading out to Vegas for the week.
I am actually headed out there as well, but I am going the following week for a software developers conference I am presenting at.
Stay tuned to the blog for more information as we get updates from Mark all week, maybe I can even talk him into taking some photos.
So the past few weeks I have been busy, with autocrossing, working on MyShineBox.com and other things I found some time to work on my cars. As I have done in the past I put some time lapse videos together of the work. To see the videos click on the title above to read the full blog post!
Well, I don't know about the rest of you but I am looking forward to this coming weekend. Friday morning I'm hitting the road to Topeka Kansas. Why would anyone be excited about Topeka? Well, I'll be doing a test & tune on Friday to get my car setup for the Midiv Solo Championships this weekend, as well as hopefully get a good setup worked out for the 2008 SCCA Solo Nationals which are just over a month and a half away.
The Solo Nationals are held in Topeka, at least for this year, and are usually held in September. I'll be heading to Topeka for a week and a half in September, longer than most people would probably care for but my profession allows me flexibility, always a good thing.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, you can follow along with my weekend at www.corvettez06org if you're intereted. If you're in the Topeka area head on out to Heartland Park on Saturday or Sunday to say hello, I'll be in a red 2004 Corvette Z06 with Missouri plates.

Day 1 here in Milwaukee was wet! Beth ran the car in the first heat on the brand new hoosier wets, by the third heat Dave and I switched to the race rubber.
Beth finished up today in 2nd place, if she can stay there tomorrow she'll win a trophy and a free contingency tire! Dave had his usual cone issues, he complained about the car being too loose on corner exit, but I think he just forgot that it was wet outside.
I ran well, I'm sitting in 5th after Saturday, .14* back from the 4th and final trophy position. Tomorrow I am going to do my best to try and move up, not back like I have the past few National events on Sunday.

So what does everyone have in store for this weekend? The Shine Box guys will be busy. Mark is back in St. Louis tending to the business side of things, while I get to get out and have some fun.
I'm up in Milwaukee this weekend at the SCCA National Tour solo event at Miller Park. It looks like I might get to try my brand new rain tires out as they are calling for rain, though it has dropped to a 40% chance, down from 80% earlier in the day.
Welcome to our brand new blog. With this blog we'll give you an insight into the company, the people, and the vision for Shine Box.
Occassionally we'll have guest bloggers, staff bloggers, invisible bloggers and maybe some that lie outside of those bounds. Sometimes our blog posts won't relate to Shine Box, most of the time they will, almost always the blog posts will be related to cars in some way.
